Lyndi Lou, Iaso

Pyrography and watercolors on birch, 11 x 14 in., 2020

According to myth, Iaso, the Greek Goddess of recuperation, appeared in times of compromised health and restored it. This portrait of Iaso gently holding lemons, symbols of healing after illness, pays homage to our healthcare workers who are bringing us back to health at their own risk.
