Cara Hinh, FACE

Digital visual art, 17 x 11 in., poetry, and video, 3 minutes, 17 seconds, 2020

FACE is about looking at myself and trying to figure out which pieces belong to which parts of my family. Being mixed race has led me to be a part of multiple cultures, while simultaneously belonging in none. With COVID and the racism it has elicited, it's more important than ever for Asian American voices to be lifted and examined.
