Z Zhou, Quarantined

Self-portrait in charcoal and pastel on paper, 16 x 24 in., 2020

The is a self portrait created during quarantine. Like many people, I was laid-off during the pandemic. Although stressed and worried watching the numbers grow every day, I try to distract myself by spending time with my family, playing games, and making art. This is a special time and I feel like a self portrait is something that can be reflected upon many times in the future.
